Welcome!
My name is Jesus Ramos, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist with additional training and licensure in school psychology providing therapy, psychological evaluations, and consultation services. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, families, veterans, and any individual’s navigating life's challenges, transitions, and questions about what comes next.
At its core, my work is about helping people better understand themselves and move through life with greater clarity, intention, and self-awareness. Many people seek therapy because they are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about the direction they're heading. Others come to therapy simply because they want to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change in their lives.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that lasting growth comes from both insight and action. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, existential perspectives, and psychodynamic principles, while remaining flexible to what is most helpful for each person. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I aim to understand the larger story of who you are, what has shaped you, and where you want to go.
As a veteran, I also understand that major transitions can challenge our sense of identity, purpose, and direction. This perspective informs my work with veterans, service members, and others navigating significant life changes, while also reinforcing my belief that growth often emerges from the periods of life that feel most uncertain.
In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents. I work closely with families to help them understand assessment results and navigate educational systems, including IEP evaluations, 504 plans, and school-based services. My background in both clinical and educational settings allows me to help individuals and families make sense of complex information and translate assessment findings into practical recommendations and meaningful next steps.
I offer services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a space that feels authentic, culturally responsive, and respectful of each person's unique experiences and background.
Thank you for visiting. If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to explore my full bio or reach out to discuss whether working together may be a good fit.
